AWESOMENESS is a word

Dream come true! That’s the most exaggerated statement I could say about this whole experience. But it’s so true that one of my dreams well let me say wishes came true.

I started listening to this station when I’m still in High school. I been monsterized by my sisters Jayann and Jayzel, listeners of Morning Rush (Chico and Del), and apparently I enjoyed listening to them and to other DJ’s of the station. Listening to RX was really contagious, I must say.

I been a fan of Jumpstart because of Igi Guirero (we all know that he’s good looking) =), and the time moved so fast that Igi have to leave and he will be replaced by Gino Quillamor (the more good looking). I got addicted to Jumpstart.

Earlier this year, I think April or May of this year I discovered the live streaming of Jumpstart at Ustream from their twitter account. I enjoyed watching them live, chat with them and chat to other listeners. It was fun because from Ustream I got to meet new friends.

Last July 29, 2010 Russell Bumatay (Ustreamer) invited me to visit Gino and Fran on August 6, 2010. Perfect! Because July 30, will be my last day of work that means by next week I’m free, so I said “SURE”.

God was so great that Gino and Fran’s schedule was moved from 4-7pm to 10am-1pm. There’s nothing to worry about going home alone in the middle of the night.

..my most awaited day came. Past 8 in the morning I leave the house and head to Robinson’s Galleria where Ginnie Valdes (Ustreamer) and I will meet. At exactly 10:16 I arrived at Galleria earlier to our 11:00am meeting time (excited?!).

Russell Bumatay and Clemence Prado (Ustreamers) keep on texting me while I’m waiting for Ginnie. They keep on asking me “where are you?” “Go to the station now!” which made me feel more excited to see them. When Ginnie and I came then Gino and Fran says “hi” to us and my fellow Ustreamers says “hi” as well, I can’t explain what I felt that time. I’ve finally met Richard Parco, Markie Lasquety, Russell Bumatay, Clemence Prado, Ginnie Valdes and of course Gino and Fran.

That was the bravest thing I’ve ever done in my life (haha babaw). All the way from Laguna I went to Ortigas alone without a perfect idea of how to go home. Lucky enough Russell Bumatay never leave me. After Jumpstart we stayed at the booth until 5pm then head to SM Megamall to buy a Bible Holder for his wedding then to HM Terminal where I ride the bus going home to Laguna. I got home safe, tired but perfectly happy, happy, happy can’t get over it, I’m so happy! =)
